Minneapolis investment banking firm Manchester Cos. Inc. announced it will merge with business consulting firm Upwind Capital Partners.
Under terms of the deal, Chanhassen-based Upwind founder and president, Jim O'Reilly will join Manchester as a principal. Upwind focuses on consulting on early-state high-technology, medical device, manufacturing, and health care information technologies companies.
O'Reilly has over 25 years of experience, and was previously executive vice president of VisionShare Inc., a Minneapolis company that manages solutions for secure information exchange. O'Reilly is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Manchester Cos. provides investment banking and corporate advisory services. .
