With over 25 years of experience in organizational behavior, marketing, business development and management, Ms. King is recognized for her skill in providing creative and practical solutions to challenging issues. During her career, she has held a number of executive-level positions in a variety of organizations including a start-up company, a non-profit organization, a nationally recognized accounting firm, and two universities.
Ms. King works with Manchester clients in a variety of industries to improve organizational effectiveness, performance and business growth. Her expertise is used to help clients:
- Assess, understand and improve organizational behavior and effectiveness necessary for the achievement of superior performance.
- Develop and implement an integrated business strategy including plans for operational execution and tactical solutions.
- Analyze, determine and institute organizational strategies linked to rapid growth, business repositioning and acquisition and/or merger integration.
As president of United Service Solutions, Inc., Ms. King directed the development of an original approach to check processing for the nation’s largest retailers with store locations throughout the country. As President of Children's Heartlink, an international non-profit medical organization, she designed and implemented strategies to expand the scope of programs and to stabilize the group's financial structure. For six years, she was the Director of Marketing for Ernst & Young – Minneapolis / St. Paul, where, through coordination of the audit, tax and management consulting practices, she built the firm’s business development department. Prior to that, she held research, planning, and management positions at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota and at the Department of Education in Hartford, Connecticut.
