Mr. O’Reilly is an experienced executive and venture capitalist, as well as a successful entrepreneur who has guided many companies toward success. His skills include equity financings and exit scenarios / liquidity options analysis and transactions as well as general executive and board-level management. His extensive experience in the information technology, healthcare, and medical device industries brings additional value to Manchester’s clients.

Most recently, Mr. O’Reilly was the founder and president of Upwind Capital Partners, a corporate finance and business consulting firm. His focus at Upwind Capital Partners was on advising small- and middle-market companies in the Midwest, providing corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, sales / marketing planning, turnaround, interim executive management, and business advisory.

Prior to founding Upwind Capital Partners, Mr. O’Reilly was the Executive Vice President of VisionShare, Inc., where his involvement resulted in more than $2M in equity financing in less than 90 days after joining the team, as well as a total of $7.5M of highly valued equity financing over a three-year period.  Previous to that Mr. O’Reilly was an active investor in the Twin Cities area with Space Center Ventures, and also held the position of Membership Chairman for the Minnesota Venture Capital Association, where he guided many companies toward success through various exit scenarios. He also has syndicated many venture and private equity transactions through his venture capital network.
